Uphall seems a nice wee bit – the canal runs through it I’m sure. One of the main stops on the Glasgow to Waverley run. In reply to Elsier: Lithgae (Linlithgow) is a great wee town, some good pubs cafes and restaurants, couple of supermarkets, some good local shops, loads of history and lovely countryside.
